An example of this type of essay can be found in the literature of the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). The sample and narrative entries found in the AP curriculum book is another common form of essay used by universities and colleges for classroom usage.The choice of essay may vary from institution to institution as far as how it is to be graded but all the same general guidelines are followed by most colleges and universities when grading an admission essay. A good example of this type of essay can be found in the literature and now a day's colleges. The key difference between the two is t hat the clinical essay needs a medical or health education background and the observation essay has no medical background at all. An example of a narrative essay and the narrative essay used in college can be found in the senior medical research and writing classes.These two essays are similar to each other in the way they are written. The outline of the essay will differ from one to the other but in both cases the purpose is to bring out the importance of the subject of the essay. This may include highlighting a certain event or phenomenon, describing how certain disease or ailment has affected the research for some time, or giving a more general description of the research by providing a few specifics.An essay of narrative and clinical observation can be found in most courses offered at colleges and universities but the choice of which essay to use will largely depend on the purpose of the essay. The choice of form depends on what type of information needed to be presented and the goal of the essay. The general usage of the form will be based on the intention of the student as well as the professional writing style and the student's ability to successfully complete the assignment.
